II'm also experiencing this. Not sure which build started it, but I know 12/21 was OK and 12/25 was not.
Li had it disabled originally for waydroid

VBig picture and game mode are not the same
VBig picture is basically just a program, game mode relies on gamescope for quite a lot of it's functionality

Hwith nvidia optimus gpus the 2nd gpu is a 3d controller which the integrated gpu gets frames from for 3d applications
Lthing is, according to mangohud, the game doesn't even use the cpu, and i'm just so stumped that i'm throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks
