I had a similar problem with my DOF Reality H6 motion platform, very tight on space in front of the seat as well.
I wanted the Rhino to be easily swapped out and I alsi wanted to be able to climb aboard without struggling to lift my leg over it. So I use a large flat plate that swivels in one corner. It's easily moved into place and yet holds the base very firmly. Q4Rigs plates weren't around when I was looking for ways to quick change my other controls so I use powerful neodym magnets instead. They attach like limpet mines and have just enough grip to be firmly held, yet are easily detached with a firm twist to one side.

The UPS tracking lags a bit because our carrier delivers the packages to UPS Poland first (that takes a couple of business days, hence no UPS tracking the first couple of days) plus the Christmas holidays lagged things even more lol

Certainly can't fault you, i got the availability notice, payment, and shipping notification with tracking number in less than eight hours.

My guess you got it out half an hour before everyone took off for christmas.

That plate is you highlitghed is too low, and you would not have the space to mount the rhino (it would be obstructed by the keyboard tray and by the central arm).
What I plan to do is to mount that central arm lower (to the next holes) and use a 3d printed plate which attaches directly to it.

maybe someone with the skills can design a larger one for the rhino
or the same can be adapted some way. A wooden base with the same dimensions of the Rhino lower base can be screwed to it.
The alternative is to don't mount the central arm...and floor mount the rhino with a large wooden base.
It would not be optimal for me as I don't want to use extensions...but it could be a solution

That's what I did, I took an MDF base plate of 55 x 90 cm, some 2 by 4 and an Ikea chair (which Buttkicker broke already

). But if you can lower the round plate low enough, I'd try attaching base plate to that first

No, the dimentions are all diffrent. You'll need to either purchase one or make one unfrotunatly. The Virpil mouse pad "plate" is actually big enough, but you'd still need to at least drill your own holes through the steel.

There is. But I don't have ANY monstertech stuff so I just ordered a full table mount from them directly. They offer a rhino plate on their site.

Hi everyone. I build custom flight simulators and am looking at adding force feedback to one of them. What kit should I order that will be the most powerful? We have a dual linked yoke setup and will connect the motors into the control system but it will need to be rather powerful. Are these system tested for high load for 5+ minutes, or will they overheat/break? Any tips would be great.
