We explicitly remove it and unfortunately you can't re-add it, system76 scheduler takes over that purpose

The way I fixed this is by enabling

usroverlay

usroverlay

in

rpm-ostree

rpm-ostree

and then downloading and replacing that file manually from the main branch in the waydroid repo

The reason it's happening is because the waydroid version is old. Python changed the syntax of escape characters a while back and for some time spouted out a warning about it

Waydroid updated it after the syntax escape change was made permanently to python but the waydroid version that the change has been made in hasn't been made over to Bazzite/Fedora, not sure how it's installed into Bazzite actually

All I did was doing the temporary change of replacing the file by running

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay

sudo rpm-ostree usroverlay

and then downloading the file from waydroid here: https://github.com/waydroid/waydroid/blob/main/tools/helpers/net.py and then replace the file with the downloaded file in

/usr/lib/waydroid/tools/helpers/net.py

this would be a non issue, but i can't configure the waydroid session to intergrate with the desktop and use multi window mode with the error happening
