Sdoes anyone know if vrr on bazzite should work with sony tvs over hdmi 2.1? vrr is pretty new on linux right? is it only displayport right now?
Sim kinda brand new to linux, other than unraid and an arch vm i used to mess around in so i don't know jack

H"HDMI" is too vague. They specifically are asking about the generation of HDMI required

Sinteresting, well i believe the sony's only support vrr over an hdmi 2.1 connection so maybe that's the issue

KCustom kernel means HDR in gamemode and KDE

KIt'll work fine in game mode because you're using gamescope as your compositor

JAfter an year of straight up not booting, finally got bazzite working on my laptop...ish.

- no dnf; apparently this is immutable fork of Fedora, so it uses RPM...I think?
- Audio drivers doesn't seem to work; it does play audio from either the built-in speaker or the 3.5mm jack, but there's no options shown on GNOME's audio settings. My USB headphone isn't detected either
- Terminal on bash-5.2
- Discord flatpak won't launch. At all.
Krpm-ostree instead of dnf
KThough you'll want to use flatpak and distrobox as much as possible
KI use the discord flatpak on every piece of hardware in my home, should work fine
KAs far as audio, what laptop do you have?
JFor bash thing, I found the option on the terminal to revert it to my preference
