DSweet! I might either have the last Rhino shipped in 2023 or the first shipped in 2024!!
ASo...I am really enjoying my Rhino, but now that the Aim-120 isn't totally stupid anymore, I find myself flying the F-16C more than any other plane. I feel a bit stupid 
AIs there already a PoC in a branch somewhere for force sensing?
AFull power friction and spring mode while measuring the force required to hold the stick should be all that's needed, shouldn't it? 
Jit was explained before around a year ago (as in my paraphrasing may be widely inaccurate) but essentially the motors aren't designed for that kind of behavior and long term use could damage them

Ji also recall that even if it was set up in such a way to achieve a similar effect, it wouldn't feel as good nor be as capable as actual force sensing
Jit wouldn't be 'smooth' if that makes sense
JI'm sure someone who knows more than I can correct me where needed and/or provide a better explanation
AI guess I'll just have to build a decent profile for the F-16 with very stiff springs and a lot more resistance near the axis limits so that it feels more natural to me.

WLOL, know the feeling. I don't worry and just fly it with normal force feedback. It's centrally mounted also, so really nothing authentic about any of it!
AYup, screw authentic. I need to tune the spring forces and maybe add g dependant forces to make it feel more natural.
SI tried the HF8 when it was released and I didn’t care for it. I found it to be uncomfortable to sit on but I also own the Jetpad from Andre and that one is very comfortable to sit on. The Jetpad is still obtainable but you need to reach out to them via Andre’s website (contact us type link). I wound up returning the HF8 and plan to get a second Jetpad as a spare. The HF8 was also pretty weak with the vibrations when I tried it.(like very weak) and I had everything maxed for settings etc. Maybe they improved that part since release in some way. I had hoped that it would be an equal to the Jetpad so people could have a choice in terms of what to buy but at least for me, it wasn’t very good at the time.
DI never owned the jetpad, but the hf8 is comfortable and the Rumble can be strong, I turned mine down to 20%
HThe HF8 in a warbird will shake your teeth loose. I wouldn't classify it as weak.
BFrom what ive gathered there has been a fair bitnof advancement on the software and or simshaker integration with hf8 since initial release.
BHavent tried the hf8 or sim transducers (yet) but I did have some cheap ones on a recliner for home theater setup.
Was barely a 50watt amp and around the 50% mark it could make the recliner rattle around the floor like an old nokia on a glass table.

RHINO #0325 Has Shipped!DI have a Sony amp hooked up to a transducer puck on my metal rig, works great. My puck setup does not work all that great on my wood rig, a seat based setup would probably work better.
