KWayland is a more modern compositor with features like HDR, but Nvidia's drivers have very early support for it
KX11 is fully supported by them
KWork is being done to patch that up, so hopefully Nvidia on Wayland will be feature complete soon

CIt has been... rough... especially since the 545 driver release
CWhich sucks because it was specifically meant to bring a slew of Wayland fixes and improvements, but instead broke both Wayland and X11 for a variety of games

VICD Vulkan loader is broken in 545. And there is no solution but roll back.
CFor users, it would make sense. Ublue supported multiple driver versions from when the Nvidia image build process was first figured out until the rpmfusion nvidia package maintainers stopped building/mainatining the older drivers
VDamn. Then it's up to people to do it personally. Because roll back is possible but driver not maintained.

VThere is raw driver on nvidia site I believe. But for sanity you can't install it as it is and have to build rpm like rpmfusion people did.

OI'm digging desktop bazzite ever since the update that fixed ddccontrol on desktop (no more blank monitor on reboots, yay!). Kinda great that the only criticism on HN is a guy talking about a whopping 7 GB of flatpaks.
