but ideally you would have your changes for that in your own custom image. but yeah if you roll your own image using startingpoint, github will be your "clonezilla" and the only thing you have to back up then is the userfiles. if you are not using your own image and add stuff to
/etc
/etc
and
/usr/local
/usr/local
then you will have to backup those too but everything else is read only
startingpoint is also very easy to configure and setup
I could not get Switch Joycons or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to pair today, in desktop or gaming mode, even after reboot. New Dualshock controllers did pair successfully.
I would assume so as it works perfectly fine backing up and restoring SteamOS i would use clonezilla live Ubuntu variant not the plain Debian one.. clonezilla use a method to determine the best way to 1:1 backup the source disk.. not super familiar on the method i guess ask clonezilla devs if you are that interested.. but nonetheless it should work. I believe theres a way to do a "dry run" to see if everything works like it should without affecting anything but idk how to myself.
