While this wine stuff is mentioned, I would like to know if it's possible to have wine setup out-of-the-box, without complicated GUI things of prefixes & such stuff like in Bottles & Lutris.
Just run the .exe & enjoy.
Or just place Windows app folder in the desired location, make desktop shortcut & run it. ($HOME/.WindowsApps or smth)
WineZGUI is not what I want.

Flatpaks are much harder to set out-of-the-box unfortunately compared to system stuff, so that's why I'm thinking of this approach

Yeah... no, thing is, different programs need different specific configurations and requirements, for example, I remember in the good ol' days when Proton-GE or Wine-LOL weren't a thing, and I had to apply several patches and configurations manually just to play League of Legends, but if I tried to run EU4 in the same prefix, not only it would not run, but the prefix shat itself and had to configure everything again. Honestly, y'all new comers have it sooooooo easy. I started when POL was the trendy new way to easily install windows apps... and it was awful
