Yeah... no, thing is, different programs need different specific configurations and requirements, for example, I remember in the good ol' days when Proton-GE or Wine-LOL weren't a thing, and I had to apply several patches and configurations manually just to play League of Legends, but if I tried to run EU4 in the same prefix, not only it would not run, but the prefix shat itself and had to configure everything again. Honestly, y'all new comers have it sooooooo easy. I started when POL was the trendy new way to easily install windows apps... and it was awful
