Hi, @ShreeshaN I'm not sure at this moment. Today, I have a meeting on this and will update you. To share with you, last time when we chose the routing path for the antenna the range we managed to achieve was not very satisfactory. If I find good resources maybe I will think of trying once again. Why don't you join this week's office hour happening tomorrow? I'll be happy to see you in person. Thanks and have a good day!
Welcome to the server @sanabouhaha! Can you tell us more about your tech background. Is there any project you are actively working on any and if so, what was the most interesting thing about it.
PLEASE JOIN AS A SPEAKER IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION!Join DevHeads' weekly Office Hours, Mondays at 3 PM (1500) GMT to meet other DevHeads and riff on a variety of topics for...
I was recently reading about kinetic energy harvesting solutions with the goal to make IoT sensors batteryless and support sustainability. What do you think of the market scope and will there be widespread adoption of such technologies? Or you all still think it’s difficult to convince OEMs to adopt this.
One of my university Prof was working on piezo energy harvesting for IoT nodes. These would really suit for building and mall spaces. Side note - car's have batteries and still advertised sustainable
Check out our new paper on "A Dual-Mode RF Power Harvesting System With an On-Chip Coil in 180-nm SOI CMOS for Millimeter-Sized Biomedical Implants" published…
@techielew Brandon, the device in the screenshot is by far the best thing I have seen from the CES 2004 on the Internet. Would it be possible to find more at their booth?
Can @shriniwas5485 and @K.L.NAGARAJU give us some background on yourselves professionally? What do you do and what are you working on? And is there anywhere you're stuck technically?
"Hey team, I've successfully uploaded the RFID reader code to my ESP8266, and the hardware connections seem correct. However, I'm not getting the expected output on the Serial Monitor. The loop is running, but I'm not detecting RFID tags or seeing UID information. Any insights on what might be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated!"
Hi, @K.L.NAGARAJU I appreciate it if you let us know which Exact RFID Module(part number) you're using in your project. And, are you just testing demo example code from the RFID Library? Once you confirm the part number I hope I can help you further. Welcome to DevHead!
@Umesh Lokhande It's RC522 (RFID model) and I'm trying to build a kind of system that could READ and display UDI information of a RFID CARD on a serial monitor of ARDUINO IDE
Hi @K.L.NAGARAJU Please confirm in your Serial Monitor Windows at the lower right corner if you've set the correct baud rate. It seems to me, that the baud rate in the code does not match with the serial terminal "9600". Please confirm
Hi @techielew , I look forward to the meeting at 15:00 GMT Hope we can dedicate some of the meeting time to the things you've seen at CES in Las Vegas!
@K.L.NAGARAJU So, you mean even after setting the baud rate properly? still doesn't work. Please share good quality pictures I mean proper screenshots. Also, appreciate more details on the RFID tags (card/key). Thanks!
