Yes, that's the 90° mod, you install a 90° adapter so you can use a 2280 ssd

you either need a slightly boosted fan profile over the default, or it could probably use a slim heat sink

i can give some good examples, totk runs better with vulkan rather than opengl, bayonetta 1&2 runs better with opengl rather than vulkan, its game dependent really, because of the weirdness of the engines used

I got thermal warnings when I’d try and transfer more than 600gb at a time unless I boosted the fan a bit

thats because of the new architecture, which is a bit more wattage and voltage dependent than the previous one

Alright, that's veeeeeery interesting, the Ultra 5 only losses 2 performance cores but has the same GPU, might be a much better option than the normal Z1 ally, which is btw, atrocious
