BYes, it works just like regular steam...only difference is that you need to give the flatpak itself permission to read from the drive/folder

Afor some additional context, there's a neptune kernel rpm we started using on nobara, and it's resolves a bunch of issues on the LGO. Not sure if ostree could install a full kernel though, i'm not too familiar with how kinoite works
Xin theory there shouldn't be anything stopping that from working, in practice you may need to ensure that the bootloader config is set to actually load the new kernel
