Hi all, I'm on basic Fedora and getting sick of "installing the batteries" whenever I find an issue so considering switching it to UBlue Bazzite. Two questions: is GNOME having performance issues compared to KDE or about same (HDR/VRR)? Also, some steam games require the traditional package rather than the flatpak version, that's fine to install?

You install anything from the Bazzite Portal outside of LACT? Certain applications are installed via a fedora distrobox container

GNOME does not have proper HDR support yet, no. Bazzite has a VRR patch but that may break sometimes. KDE has VRR and will also get HDR support eventually (like GNOME.) Bazzite also comes with the package preinstalled
