The lego has 2 USB4's and the Z1 Extreme is 8 Zen 4 cores, so should have more than enough juice to not be a bottleneck, and with that, the moment I just want to sit down in my (imaginary) sofa, I connect the lego to the egpu, the egpu to the tv, and play whatever at 4K, hmmmm

if you got no output then you are good, just refresh the drives in kde partition manager and re-add your automounts

also very important that you select UUID instead of device node when you make the mount points

for ntfs and btrfs select the no update of file access timesno update of file access times

Users can mount and unmountUsers can mount and unmount is optional

make sure identify byidentify by is set to UUID

ntfs only need nofailnofail and the no update of file access timesno update of file access times
btrfs just has some options that are very useful like built in compression

once you have added all the mount points you can test the automount with sudo mount -asudo mount -a
if you have done anything wrong it will spit out an error

yes, devide nodes can move around between reboots, UUID is a lot safer as it is unique to the partition you made on the disk
