Tmount a folder or two above where you want it to go but along the same path, so if you want something in your home folder, use
/home/USER or maybe /home/USER/Games or the drive in question
KFedora has SSH default enabled, but it's prevented from using your password and requires you to configure an ssh key
KIf you do that, I highly recommend using the cockpit flatpak

SI'm considering making a bottles install of new Vegas and adding mod organizer to that would that work?
Tif you still want to use MO2, you can install it into the game's prefix and install the various dependencies
Tnote that you should use MO2 v2.4.4 because 2.5.0+ do not work on versions of wine lower than 8.21 (and no version of GE or Proton are based on 8.21)
