@mbchan003 Welcome , Can you tell us a little about yourself and your technical background? What brings you to DevHeads? What are you working on currently?
Welcome, @Worcnaz Prado! We're happy to have you as a DevHead. Feel free to let us know what you're working on now and a bit about your technical background.
Good afternoon people! I'm Nicolas Prado, but I'm usually just called Prado. I'm 19 years old and I'm Brazilian, and I've been studying software for about 2 years. In the last two years I have dedicated myself almost exclusively to web development, until the moment I started working with it, but I always wanted to go to something... "low level". I started developing an operating system some time ago, trying to understand a little more about how everything works, but many doubts appeared and some I couldn't find an answer to anywhere... I imagine that here I can learn about such doubts!!!
p.s: Sorry for my terrible english, I'm still learning that too ;~;, it's impossible to go through these areas without being able to at least read in english.
Also, your english is great. Be sure to join our Office Hours Meetups on Fridays at 1500 GMT. You can just listen in but we have some speakers lined up who should be right up your alley
Oh! Thanks! I will definitely try to be there!!! And yes, Baremetal (I had to research the term, I've never heard of it ;~;), but to boot the operating system I'm using grub2. I'm at the beginning, so I have a lot of things I don't know, I really appreciate the hospitality!
np. @Priyanka Singh and @abhishek awasthi are fantastic resources for you, as well as @Jean Labrosse. If you have discussion topics put them in β software-integration. For questions ping @SW-Lead.
Hello everyone this is my first time in here. Iβm a renewable energy engineer( on the making still one year till the end) and Iβm involved into a group project that works on an EMS ( energy management system) that implements AI in weather forecasting and energy production and management (we are implementing renewables like solar panels and wind turbines) any suggestions on how to start the manipulation of the AI? Thank you in advance
I'm about to sign off for the day but if you could provide some more information about the infrastructure/electronic content you have at the edge and what you're using on the backend might be helpful. What you ask is a really big question, so any specifics you can provide will go a long way in determining whether we can help or not.
@SAMMY SIDDHYA Welcome,! We're happy to have you as a DevHead. Feel free to let us know what you're working on now and a bit about your technical background.
They charged me almost 300$ as you can see. A bit more than expected (I hadn't foreseen the high shipping and customs charges), but still way less than what Eurocircuits would charge me.
I plan to test all of the boards, then I can send some of them to you guys. To those who want a board: please refund the production cost (that would be around 30$ for one board) and the shipping cost from Belgium to your country. I don't have much experience with shipping, but I'll look out for some cheap options if available.
