MAh yeah that fixed it, thanks for your help! I'm so used to adding curves that I didn't even think about it being a problem.
DYeah, I have had to (and gladly) get rid of any curves within DCS.
Aluckily the rhino offers massive movement range, which should at least help with non-curved operation
BAnd you can map and scale these as you wish in configurator, and switch as needed with a few clicks.
JHello, there is no way I can get TelemFFB to work, the only thing I get is the waiting for data message. I have reinstalled everything, deleted the registry key but it's still the same. I guess I'm missing something.In Il2 it works perfect.The issue is only in DCS
MI'd exclude that. It does not happen with any other device and I already did some intensive troubleshooting to find out I was using an insufficient power source for the USB. This one time the issue was the whole M/B USB went down for a second (so every USB peripheral got disconnected and reconnected). Every other one came back as available in DCS but the Rhino. So to my mind that says two things
1) problems with the USB subsystem in the m/b (drivers, chipset dying, w/e) BUT
2) notwithstanding that the Rhino doesn't seem to be able to come back alive (in DCS, because the system sees it alright) from a disconnect. So despite having a potential USB chain problem (chipset, drivers, cable, hub, power source you name it) the Rhino still refuses to resuscitate in DCS when it "plugs back in" eventually.

BAs I've got a cat fond of chewing cables, I can attest a bad cable can indeed bring dowm the whole system as a safety precaution.

If anything drops out and reconnect it will be marked on the tree and has helped diagnose a few almost similar cases, but its a common synptom with a whole bucket of varying causes so can't just say "its x" guaranteed.

MNo. I have just tried it. The Rhino and the VPC Rotor TCS plus are both connected to the same hub.
Mwith DCS running, if I unplug and re-plug the collective, it comes back for the system and DCS.
NAssuming you have allowed TelemFFB to install the export script for you, Check the DCS logs to see if there is anything causing the script to fail.
It’s possible there’s a conflict with something else in your setup which is causing it to fail (and therefore not send any telemetry)

NDid TelemFFB automatically install the export script? (It should prompt you if it can’t find what it needs setup in the right locations when it starts).
Also, just for completeness of information…., DCS will not send any telemetry unless you load into a flight. It does not send anything while you are in the menu.

JI remember that when I installed telemFBB it asked me to install the file. I have tried with DCS running without pausing with a mission in F14 several times and the waiting data message still does not change
Nif you see these messages in the TelemFFB log and you don't see any errors in the dcs log related to TelemFFB.lua, things are working on the TelemFFB side and the problem must be with DCS...
As a test, you can rename your current 'saved games' folder as a backup and then start DCS. It will create a new default saved games directory (which you can later delete and rename the original back).
After you have done this, start TelemFFB and it will install its export script into the new testing saved games directory.
Then test and see if the telemetry is working. If it does, then there is some conflict with one of the other dcs mods you are loading. There are several in your scripts folder I am not familiar with so I can't say how they may conflict or not.

MNew questions: I couldn't get my fan to turn on from either socket when in the debug menu. I tested for voltage there with them on there and got 19.8vdc, which is what my psu is putting out. Aren't those supposed to be 12v?

H@walmis I found that the maximum current the motor reaches on the software is about 25A. At this point, if multiplied by the voltage of 24V, it results in a power of 600W, which far exceeds the rated power of the PSU. So, I am a bit confused. Is the 25A displayed in the software the actual current?
WNo that's the current inside the motor windings, the current drawn from the supply is named 'Ibus'
WYeah, you are correct, under no load I get PSU voltage too on the fan output, but with a fan connected I've measured 12.7V.
MAny idea why I can't get the fan to come on? I'm using the 'test fans' function in debug. To rule out variables I bench tested a new fan and it works fine but when plugged into the socket no go. I'm only using 1 fan, is that a problem?
WCan you measure the fan port when you cold power-on the board? If it has voltage that would indicate the transistor is busted (failed short)

MNo voltage when fans aren't on in software. Once on in configurator it goes up to psu voltage. Not sure if it means anything but when I turn it back off it took around 1 minute to creep back to zero
WThat's strange - can you try powering the board and fans from 12V?
MHooked my benchtop psu to it, set to 12v same result regarding fan voltage following psu. To that end I twiddled the dial on my psu and watched the voltage on the fans go up/down with it. Turned off and same slow countdown to zero
As to my fans not running in the first place I've solved that, the prefab pigtail leads I bought were wired reverse from Rhino board. Swapped crimp pin locations now both sockets turn on/off as they're supposed to, but until the voltage thing is solved don't want magic smoke to come out these fans so not using them

MGreat.. turning my benchtop psu up to running voltage I made it to 18v before the board beeped, usb lights went out/disconnected. Disconnected everything but now when I plug in usb nothing happens except the main chip gets hot.

SHey mates. I downloaed the stable (master) verzion cause i do not want to use the python. when i open the app i do not see any data. Any help here?
