JAnyways I repartitioned my external drive and put my steam folder on it and now steam can't write to it for some odd reason
Kis it mounted as your user?
JIt wrote steam apps and the library folder file but when I go to install a game I get a disc write error
JIt's mounted under my user but every time I restart my computer I have to remount the drive

Kif you want it to automount you'll need to add it to fstab

JAlright now I'm getting a new issue I restarted my computer and now it's saying failed to add steam library folder

SIs anyone using DaVinci Resolve in Bazzite? I can't get it to launch at all. I have tried using davincibox and installing it through bazzite-arch or just directly, and all I can get is an error on startup.
Kif you run it through the term in the box do you get any errors?

JRepartitioning my drive as NTFS fixed it
SI was trying to setup a full linux workflow for resolve, but I hit a snag with uh, resolve lol.
SIt’s me; I’d be one of those users, I have no doubt. Lol
Kwe and valve both very highly reccomend not using NTFS
Nyeah. I use EXT4 for data drive and it works great!
NI didn't bother with BTRFS
BThe main snag for resolve, even after install, is the lack of h264/avc codec support which a lot of consumer cameras record in. I do not want to have to re-encode all my footage like when I used final cut 6 at college
SYeah, I have been testing different video codecs that resolve can support in theory, but it not running is my biggest issue right now lol
JWell it seems like using it makes steam work. So I don't really see the problem

SBefore I create a post in the form, is it normal for suspending the system from gamemode to not work? I've noticed since November that attempting to suspend results in the system immediately waking up
