Funding circle for slowing down AI
Just spoke with @Greg_C and @Igor Ivanov about the idea of setting up a funding circle for initatives that aim to slow down AI development. Such a circle could help to fund projects like PauseAI. As of now, most funding initiatives tend to focus on AI safety research and policy that explicitly does not include slowing down. This leaves a gap which should be filled.
