You can run

rpm-ostree update

rpm-ostree update

instead to see a more verbose update

The release you're updating to majorly improves just update and adds an app for it as well

is ran, which breaks my temperature readout programs. Adding the k10temp module fixes this, but it seems you have it blacklisted under /etc/modprobe.d/amdcpu.conf
