SAfter the discussion earlier today, I spent about half of my time with the audio, then the other half is a kdenlive project. Haven't touched kdenlive in a hot minute and I am so grateful they added sequences to it
Ajust prefer the propietary stuff on flatpak, i'll keep using the overlay for conan and get rid of when i stop playing. conan fails in a really weird way on flatpak the game opens fine, singleplayer works fine, but as soon as you try to join a server you get a "crash" during the load screen but if you ignore the crash window it just keeps loading and throws you on the server any way "this crash won't stop me because i don't know how to read" you can even play some 10 or 15 minutes before it really crashes.
NAre you open to us shipping this animation by default for game mode and login for KDE?

Tyou will be credited. i think the most difficult part is figuring out how to have it in Game Mode by default
SIt is very influenced by the stock Steam Deck startup, the clicks at the start are controller noise because gaming, and I kept it the same length as the stock video.

A@Kyle Gospo not sure if you've seen what's happening in the chimera discord, but it's been discovered that using valve's neptune kernel might fix all the fps and refresh rate issues on the Legion Go

KSince game mode supports boot animations being added to your home directory, that can just go in /usr/etc/skel
KThat way it's picked up by animation plugins and can easily be removed if someone doesn't want it
KKDE is another story, no idea how those animations work

SI can't get it to work with wayland, but it does with with X
SI think it is a Steam VR problem though, it complains about not being able to talk to the window manager in wayland
