Good quality white sneakers like these?

Don't want the logo on it. If it doesn't come up with leather laces, I'll just buy some and do it myself.
Preferably good quality too
POLO RALPH LAUREN Keaton-Pony Sneaker
A skate-inspired silhouette and vulcanized construction define this classic low-top sneaker. Made from cotton canvas, this version is accented with full-grain leather and Ralph Lauren's signature embroidered Pony.

budget? oliver cabell (either the low or the court) is a good fit but idk if you're in the mood for $200+ sneakers
preferably less than 125 but if its really good quality ill pay more

dont like any of the suggestions in that thread. oliver cabell looks good
i'm not a fan of leather laces with sneakers as a personal preference but i imagine you could easily swap them out yes
what do you think of the one i linked?
does plain white look better?
i pretty much always wear a black t shirt, and jeans or chinos, and sometimes a jacket
Those are just a rip of Vans. Buy Vans
plain white is a more versatile shoe than the black accented ones
And the other pair is just a rip of Stan Smiths.
Yeah just get vans authentics or eras
why is it so much more expensive then?
There's no good reason, IMO.
People will pay it, I guess?
@zeometer what do you think?
Bad take
if you're asking "why are olvier cabell sneakers more expensive than stan smiths" then imo it's two different consumers
Oliver Cabell is a luxury sneaker brand, they use premium materials and don't have nearly the scale of Adidas
does premium materials mean its more comfortable or lasts longer?
sometimes
the material of the shoe matters for durability, the construction of the shoe matters for comfort
do the black accented ones pair well with jeans or gray chinos + plain black t shirt?
they pair well but a plain white sneaker is more versatile
my style isnt very wide ranging, i pretty much only wear that. maybe a button up black shirt some times
in fact i dont even own any other types of t shirts or pants other than sweatpants which i only wear at home
the oliver cabell is on sale so im tempted to go with that
even on sale it's 2-3x more expensive than stan smiths though
buy a pair of stan smiths then
oliver cabell's are a better match to the shoe profile.ypu originally posted
if you're not that concerned with shoe profile then save the money and buy a pair of stan smiths instead, there's not going to be much visual difference between the two
just noticed all the stan smiths have those holes on the side. does that make it seem more casual/less professional?
White sneakers are casual
There isn't a formality where Oliver Cabell sneakers are ok and Stan Smiths are not
I work as a software developer, and there are company events where for example a graphic tee would be weird but a plain black t shirt would be fine.
That's just my impression though. There aren't hard requirements
"Business casual" is way more professional than most people would dress at those things
people aren't going to take the time to bend down and look at your sneakers if they're solid white
Graphic vs blank tee is a bigger difference than subtle vs no branding on minimal white sneakers. For example, I doubt anyone at that company event would be thrown off by a tiny pony logo on a polo shirt
And as zeo says, nobody's getting that close to your sneakers in the first place, whereas a shirt is front and center of your body
Oh... That's a good point. I guess I was also comparing implicitly to the Stan Smith Lux that I have, where the difference isn't as great
i still cant decide between the stan smith and oliver cabell

i really like these but they're sold out on the adidas website and i can't find them anywhere else https://www.adidas.com/us/stan-smith-shoes/HP3250.html
What about the lux? https://www.adidas.com/us/stan-smith-lux-shoes/HQ6785.html
dont like the text on the side
imo the only stan worth getting is the og green heel tab.

They look great, but not being made from leather is a deal breaker for me.
