Quick question. I've flashed bazzite twice on my rog ally. One time I picked rog ally gnome and the other was regular KDE. Install went fine and then rebooted. Now it keeps saying it fails to boot because I need to launch a kernel first. Not sure how to proceed from here

@Bonerdaddy disable secure boot in the BIOS, then reboot into Bazzite. open the terminal and enter:

ujust enroll-secure-boot-key

ujust enroll-secure-boot-key

it will ask for a password and that password is:

ublue-os

ublue-os

you can now turn secure boot back on

This used to be just hellish, now it's rather sensible. You just log in with your dev account on Xcode and it takes care of registering the device on the portal, of generating a dev certificate with that device on it, downloading it all, and packing up your app nicely

the crashing in S3 sleep hasn't negatively affected my device or anything, if that's what you're worried about. I do wish that it wasn't an issue to begin with.

if you want to swap to modern standby, I personally haven't tried on the win 4, so dunno how well it works.

But it's what's used on the LGO. And it seems to work surprisingly well there, dunno if it'll be the same on the win 4.

Does your TV have an "info" button or something that shows the display mode? It may show the colour space info there. Or alternatively another HDR-capable display to test? I know that with nvidia on Windows at least, when enabling HDR it sends 8-bit RGB by default, which is very much non-standard and could definitely cause issues with displays that (correctly) expect HDR to be always 10-bit YCbCr
