I used to use Ubuntu on an old Dell laptop in 2006-10. Power management and sleep were always something I was worried about. I’m so glad things are much better now
I am always wondering this. Has there ever been any games that the devs would only allow it to run on a few select systems like ubuntu and steamos but block everything else?
the kernel does not need to be special either, the linux kernel can be locked down a lot more than windows since its used by enterprise applications :/
