I mean, sure you can install it. It'd probably work on desktop mode via BPM, assuming BPM works on Nvidia. But gamescope-session probably won't work on Nvidia.
Also to double check, how do all the power/TDP settings interact between ryzenadj/simpledeckytdp/(bazzite/steamOS) itself
Let me know if i got this right The decky plugins interface with ryzenadj to govern and set TDP, TDPmin and TDPmax values Does the TDP performance setting in the QAM set the operating TDP or the TDP Cap for the power governor
Hmm. Got a Dell XPS 13. Got the latest release ISO. It happily installs the default desktop kde image. However when I attempt to install the desktop gnome image, it ends up bailing after 20 min of trying to pull the image. I'd like to run gnome (personal preference) or Hyprland (not willing to dig into the alternative images yet, tho), but I've re-imaged the USB several times, all with the same results. I can repeatedly install the kde, but gnome fails everytime. I'm trying the gnome install again, and will attempt to gather some logs.
so there's the Steam TDP slider, and then the TDP slider in SDTDP.
by default, the Steam TDP slider does nothing, it's basically hardcoded to the Deck. However, you can have SDTDP patch the steam slider to get it to work.
