FHow do you use the dev environment in a container through the flatpak editor? Export the binaries?
ALearning all of this on my laptop so when I go to switch over my main gaming/dev rig over to bazzite I won't be completely lost.
AFrom what I've seen, you share the host filesystem into the dev container automagically. So make code changes in editor, run tool on same dir in container.
FAnd how do you build and run the code, is my question. The base image doesn't have, for example, dotnet installed.

Amakes working with ruby pretty easy. I mean, I'm fairly competent at managing rbenv, but if I can use the exact same image to develop in that I deploy in? Win-Win.

Adistrobox just uses podman under the hood, no?
AAnd it handles the volume mounts, which is nice.

FDistrobox is essentially just podman/docker, but with preconfigured defaults to make it more intuitive and straightforward when you need a single environment with multiple uses / applications.
