COh, found proton hotfix, it was at the bottom of the list I hadn't realized/remembered/expected was scrollable
CI was confused because it also showed up as a separate runnable application
CNow it is processing vulkan shaders before launching, which I was actually rather confused about it not doing before
COh, also: I discovered that Tuned does not prevent my CPU from catastrophically overheating if the ambient temperature is above 75F

CSame 18fps in the cutscene and 100% GPU usage in the few seconds of the cutscene before the crash
CValidated files, tested different resolutions, same framerate issues and crash
SHi, i have a question regarding the installer. It seems like it fails to auto assign storage/partitions on my ally, causing the ghcr image pull to fail after downloading everything. Does anyone know the sizing of the partitions, and if a home partitions is required?
Kmanual partitoning isn't supported by upstream, we recommend using auto partitioning
Kif you want to dual boot, make the room you want for it and then let it auto partition that space
SIt simply fails when i let it auto partiton, only way i solved it is with the same workaround as stated here: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/189

Knot much I can suggest then, that error is basically useless as it tells you nothing about the true cause. We can't support or recommend manual partitioning
KThere's a new installer in the works, would be worth trying that when it's available
CManual partitioning is doable and I wrote the(?) original guide for it, but it's just replicating what the auto partitioning does

SI've mostly played around with debian based distros before, but the ally has thrown me off more than once now. had to use medicat to clean up the boot entries. windows + bios was not letting go.
