Will do! I can't reproduce any useful information from the cdn-cgi/trace atm as it's all fine atm. I was seeing more latency-related issues since ~3 days to server at different providers but all proxied through CF. But not sure if it's related in any way, might be a coincidence, hence why I was checking here before putting the burden on support haha

Custom Domains are unrelated to whether you have an AI binding on your Worker. What's the error you're getting?

R2 isn't really comparable since that isn't caching, that's just you storing the file like you are with KV.

If you're using a custom domain to cache files from R2, you can store a Cache-ControlCache-Control header with the files when uploading them.

I am really confused by this firewall event in my logs for multiple reasons.

1. How is it from AS16509 (Amazon), yet the IP is 2a06:98c0:3600::1032a06:98c0:3600::103 (Workers)?

you have to do it yourself:
* add the zone to the new account as pending
* setup all the settings as the same
* then once youre totally happy with it, swap the nameservers to the new account
