R2 isn't really comparable since that isn't caching, that's just you storing the file like you are with KV.

If the KV cache expires or the file is evicted, it will just fetch it from the central stores.

If you're using a custom domain to cache files from R2, you can store a

header with the files when uploading them.

yes I just don't have it pointing to a A record or anything. It is fully setup on cloudflare though

I am really confused by this firewall event in my logs for multiple reasons.

1. How is it from AS16509 (Amazon), yet the IP is 2a06:98c0:3600::1032a06:98c0:3600::103 (Workers)?
2. Are WAF rules even supposed to be a thing for outgoing Workers requests? I thought they weren't?

you have to do it yourself:
* add the zone to the new account as pending
* setup all the settings as the same
* then once youre totally happy with it, swap the nameservers to the new account
