For some reason the desktop gets rotated to the right on this laptop when on the deck image, this laptop has a landscape display and does not match any of our checks. Meaning it gets rotated by val...

oh maybe. i get vmware and virtualbox mixed up. i prefer something like qemu+virt-manager or use gnome boxes for a quick and easy vm setup, but that wouldn't fit the needs of others im sure lol

I have no idea what boxes uses, but it's so limited that it's not worth considering if your use case isn't just testing something

qemu/virt-manager is what we support, virtualbox and anything that needs a custom kernel driver/module for virtualization is not supported
bazzite has a command to set it up and even a vfio command that configures the host for vfio (minus binding the card and doing the passthrough and prepping the card as that is your job and not something we can support, but we can at least do the system prep for you so you can just config it from there)
