Hin trimmer mode I have the options of "default", "trim in central position" and joystick without ffb.
Hseems default and central position does the same thing
BFor the Huey, select default. Make sure FFB is on under the Misc tab, and bind a joystick button to the "Trimmer"

BNo, that's an option for use with non-FFB sticks as a work around. The real aircraft you have to re-center manually.
Halso the center in an helicopter does not mean anything, I mean it depends what you're doing

BNeutral means the rotor system is not applying a force to move the helicopter. It applies in any mode. Neutral will be different depending on hovering, forward flight, on the ground, etc. That's why the re-center button doesn't exist on the real helicopter.
Hthis is the main use of a ffb device, force trim this is great ^^ though I guess as I use a long shaft and a heavy grip I have to tweak ffb effects and settings to have it work well

BJust checked, huey is set to central for me, apache, ka50 is set to instant

BWith a FFB stick, to have realistic behaviour, you should have trim set to default in the Huey, Instant in the Apache, as well as the Ka-50.
Hmonths I didn't use dcs, tried yesterday with my new rhino device and works great, I have not lost too much, I was able to land on a tower control

BI guess I haven't tried setting it to central with a FFB stick. I know without FFB, it doesn't apply the change in trim until you put the stick back to center after releasing the trimmer.
Janyone fly the SA342 gazelle? I've been struggling with the new flight model and implementation of forcefeed back. specifically instatnt trim, it doesn't seem to work the same at different speeds. I'm not sure if that is accurate. But, I am fighting the trim. it seems to double the trim inputs in some cases and no trim at all in other cases. before I report it to Polychop, I'd like to hear others opions on this.
NOn the gazelle, you have to enable a special FFB toggle in the special menu.. its the only module like that
J- the trim in the uh-1 works amazingly well
- the ah-64(for me) I belive has an issue with static force, or possible just the implentation of force trim. I have to compensate with curves in game. I've not found another way.

MWhen I have spring at max in vpforce configurator and I push/pull against the force the motors pretty quickly go into overcurrent fault and the stick needs to be unplugged/replugged.
My psu is 180w/20v so I have max psu current set to 9a and max motor current set to 30. Should these be higher? Are there other settings I should be looking at too?

BI found the solution to the weird rumble / knocking feeling had in my X-Axis. Turned out the upper screw on the base connector of the Virpil S-Curve worked it's way loose. All other screws were tight. If this happens again i might have to turn down the rumble a bit.. Putting this here i case anyone else has this problem and Ctrl+F's the Discord for "Knocking" or "Rumble" like me.
ALooking at the picture, I see the extension is touching the seat. Did you have to adjust limits in the software? Would it work better if you raise the whole thing a little bit?
AYours is DiY I think. Maybe measures are not the same with the VP one.
BThere is a gap between extension and seat, with just a little room at max. deflection. Yes, the base is DIY, the connector is lower so it accomodates the 20 cm S-Curve perfectly IMO.

AI have several modules on DCS and almost all of them work ok with Rhino. But on A-10C and A-10C II the stick is not centered but is as on the image from control indicator! Any idea why?
TIt’s how the A-10 rolls, I use end stops and rescale, works well. I think about 30 forward, not home right now.
MStill trying to figure this out. For reference, this is when in the vpforce configurator page, not in game. That being if spring is set to 100% and gain to 100% and I start pushing/pulling against it the motors overload protection shuts them down very quickly. Is this normal?
Will setting max amps above 30A damage the motors if they are able to be kept cool? My fan hasn't kicked on once aside from the test menu and being 92mm and directly above the motors will cool them well if needed..

WHmm, sounds like could be an issue with earlier motor firmware. Try setting max motor current to 28-29, does this help?
Acould loc-tite be an option on those extension screws?
BI might consider it if it happens again, but for now i just pulled them tight again and i'll be aware of it should it happen again
MTried at 28 and 29 and still did it. Also did it at 25 which it was set to by default.
DHi, I have an issue with my Pedals, in the configurator, the motor is offline, with usb connected. When do unplug the wires connected to the motor, I don't have any "bip" anymore
WHi, if the motor is powered, indicated by the LED, check the communication wire link, most likely there's a problem there.
They guys, just built up a diy rudder with the F04, I'm having trouble with the centering it being slow to center. Any suggestions?
