Hey guys, with a lot of imposter syndrome kicking in; Seeing that I'm a total beginner in embedded system . And what you guys post here is just wow! and way ahead of my current level. But I will not cry @everyone
I'm a programmer and I have a really big passion in engineering; So I thought... What if I combine programming and engineering - that was when I found out embedded system. In embedded system, I have created a spider with an Arduino(Just learnt about that few months ago).
Two years ago, I remember my teacher gave me advice when I want to charge any device, I should plug the charger into the device before plugging the other end into the electrical outlet. Why?? Does it have to do with preserving the device or the battery? Additionally, when finished charging the device, it's important to first unplug the end connected to the device from the electrical outlet before disconnecting the charger from the device.

Hi Team, While a DMA operation is launched, the memory is it accessible for reading or do we have to wait until the DMA is finished? What is the best mechanism to process saved data from DMA ?
Good one. I have too many IDEs - maybe 8+ although they're of either eclipse or VSCode flavour. Sometimes feels like retiring from them and use terminal along with vim.
I am armed with technologies like C, Python, LAMPstack, MySQL DB, Bash scripting, Devops and some times I try to challenge myself by taking some hacking challenge(Crackme's).

hi . so am doing an application to control a robot and stream it vision at the same time . i stream the vision using flask and it's doingendless loop and i can't access to the control . am using python and kodular for this project . is there is any solution or onother way so i can control and stram the vision at the same time
Instead of using Flask for streaming, consider using WebSockets. WebSockets allow for bidirectional communication between the client and server, enabling you to control the robot and stream its vision simultaneously over a single connection

Summary is: What do all the other chipmakers think about this? I personally think it's a great move but Chris takes it further explaining the potential to see all the design-ins of competitors over the years. I hinted at this before, but it seems like a good time for some of the big non-Renesas semis to throw some weight into KiCad.
What do our KiCad designers think about this? @JeremyCook @Petr Dvořák @Joseph Ogbonna @PCB & Analog?

My friend @nour_huda recommended to me DevHeads so I can meet new people in my domain and have some experience from you guys I really enjoy learning from experienced people
I'm aymen ammari license degree in electronic, I work as teacher in electronic and robotics for kids and I do freelance in industrial electricity and I help Students in their university projects
Interesting perspective. Being a KiCad user I do like that I don't have to put my designs on the cloud which makes me think of the security of designs I put on Fusion 360 which is pretty cloud heavy. Have not used Altinum or Renesas, but seems the implication is that the designs are largely stored in the cloud there. I suppose what Chris says is conjecture, so I shouldn't jump on companies for the idea that they're getting unfair-ish marketing info, but it does make sense that it would be possible.
In more encouraging thoughts, maybe more companies will throw resources toward KiCad, but I'm not holding my breath either. I've really only used KiCad, so it's entirely possible that other systems are better. I understand Eagle integrates its 3D CAD stuff with Fusion 360, so that is pretty neat, and if it saves designers time a expensive and "cloudy" EDA system could be well worth it.
