If I were to install Bazzite onto my steam deck, I'm guessing it's not a drop-in replacement for all things that call themselves compatible with SteamOS. Going from an Arch base to Fedora will do that. That said, would emudeck and decky loader still be feasible?

generally you don’t want a root account and only have a user and pw… so I’ll wait for someone who’s a bit more familiar with the install process to chime in

That is steam downloading it's own update from the internet, separate from bazzite
