British/European Brands - Thoughts?

I'm building my wardrobe and wanted to parse through the many quality brands we have in Europe (even excluding the West Coast/Americana/Japanese that's trendy here). Here's the Notion: https://sachagoat.notion.site/81c4078b47e646cda68fadad9e2eaf09?v=a31355f65def46bdae723a31827284bc&pvs=4 Trying to stay away from fast-fashion but a few candidates made it on the list, labelled with 'Major Brand'. Happy to take recommendations for additional brands founded in Europe. Also, if anyone more familiar with these brands want to sense-check my 'vibes' and 'price' categorisation, that'd be good.

Good point. Arket and Asket (which I get confused often) are both missing.

Yeah, this is awesome and very well done.

awesome! As a European I'm sure I will find this very useful! I also get arket and asket mixed up all the time lol Also, what does stockists/marketplaces mean? I would also add Nudie jeans and Acne studios, both Swedish brands. NN07/no nationality too (Danish)

Can't believe I missed Acne... Yeah I'll add those. I just wanted to note UK-based shops that stock a mix of these brands.. so I can have them noted somewhere. Atm, it's tilted very much to London.

Twothirds is another awesome brand with quality stuff at relatively reasonable prices. And Armedangels, cheaper/more basic but really good quality for the price.

Thosethatknow is another UK based seller that stocks some Japanese and other brands not sure if you planning to have this list as brands only or mixing in stores?

There's a tab at the top for stores/marketplaces.

Are there particular styles you're including or just anything? Given what you have so far I'd add mfpen, stoffa, and tempest works

I want it to be quite style agnostic as I'm still working out what I like And also to be useful to others

Satta and Sage Nation might be good aditions from the UK, both are in the modern minimalism or contemporary avant garde category in this sheet I'd say. Benzak and Tenue de Nimes are denim/workwear brands from the Netherlands. Diemme, Fracap, and of course Guidi are italian footwear brands. And Barena Venezia from Italy and De Bonne Facture from France are both sort of modern minimalist as well

think Tempest Works is shutting down unfortunately ☹️

oh that sucks Casatlantic is pretty well reviewed as well and European. Cultzim and No man walks alone could also be added as retailers

Added Casatlantic and Cultzim but No Man Walks Alone is NYC-based, right?

NMWA is NYC but does have an EU warehouse/site for EU orders.

Ah - and it also stocks a lot of EU brands. Yeah, I'll add it. 🙂 Really really want to expand this list to include the US and Japanese brands that click with me. But trying to stick to it's premise.

you could potentially add brands that ship locally without tarrifs but I guess that would bring it away too far One thing that may be useful to add is where the brand/store can ship from I've also heard good things about Morjas
