I'm still fighting against my HTPC, it Just does Not respect the KDE Power profiles on reboot and the thing with ER Just seems weird since every time the cpu clocks down and I Open the gamescope Guide Performance returns to normal

KHm? KDE should default to the balanced power profile each boot
KThat's driven by ppd and separate from s76 scheduler

KPPD doesn't really do finegrain controls like this
Kthey even refused to offer the option to switch based on plugged in state
Kbest thing to do is change it with the widget in your DE
Dif you can turn it off and on with bash scripts, you could write a launch wrapper in bash

where set-power.sh first sets the power profile to performance, runs the game with eval, making sure environment variables and LD_PRELOAD and LD_LIBRARY_PATH is passed in correctly otherwise proton will fail, wait until the game exits and then set the power profile back to normal

Dmight be a pain to set it per game, but its the next best thing if there isn’t anything that does it automatically
KRather not ship anything like that, Balanced should be perfect for 99.9% of use cases
