I'm still fighting against my HTPC, it Just does Not respect the KDE Power profiles on reboot and the thing with ER Just seems weird since every time the cpu clocks down and I Open the gamescope Guide Performance returns to normal

That's driven by ppd and separate from s76 scheduler

you can use a script to set the power profile on login through dbus, i made one for someone wanting powersave not long ago

if you can turn it off and on with bash scripts, you could write a launch wrapper in bash

set-power.sh %command%

where set-power.sh first sets the power profile to performance, runs the game with eval, making sure environment variables and LD_PRELOAD and LD_LIBRARY_PATH is passed in correctly otherwise proton will fail, wait until the game exits and then set the power profile back to normal
