wine configuration is being updated hanging
Everytime I’m trying to create a prefix the message just hangs on steam deck using wine ge proton 8-25 nothing in logs seems to indicate an error last message is the game was launched
Amake sure there's no zombie wine process running in the background
also try installing another wine-ge or reinstalling that one

SI’ve restarted multiple times so I’m thinking no zombie process and I’ve tried 3 other wine versions
SSIt seems like it creates a semi broken config afterwards because I try to use winecfg afterwards and it just doesn’t open anything
SEnded up just installing the version from discover store and it worked out and booted up maybe I had missed a step for installing something with the app image version sorry for wasting anytime
Athe flatpak version includes extra dependencies
if you use the app image you need to install wine dependencies probably from 🆘-supportRead Me First | Frequently Asked Questions, but it's not recommended for the steamdeck anyway because of the way the system works
