Di noticed that KDE 6 has a slider for decreasing color intensity for SDR content while HDR is active
Dis there such a slider for us with HDR active in gamescope, no right?
Di tried the color vibrancy settings but those don't seem to do anything while HDR is active
KThere is not, but it should be perfectly accurate to SDR

LTragically, despite getting no errors on the “test this media” screen with a different usb stick, i still can’t get past updating kargs. does anyone have any other ideas i should try? It’s bazzite or back to windows 11, I won’t f around with nvidia drivers so no other distro is in consideration.

DUh, game properties menus are refusing to open in Steam
DMy games cant boot because they all had gamemoderun commands in the launch arguments, and now you guys have removed gamemode, and I cannot remove them if I cant get to game properties

KI don't have a nvidia GPU to test against, but it's working fine for me on GNOME Wayland
KMake sure your steam client is up to date and try switching to Wayland temporarily just in case
KIn either case, this would be a steam client issue and there's not much we can do to resolve that
Kgamemoderun was removed because it was only accidentally included in desktop images -- it never did anything to nice values since System76-scheduler would override anything it did
DI am on xorg because nvidia optimus with dual monitors on wayland dont get along nicely
Kit's just temporarily to test and see if you can remove these gamemoderun commands
