wow I didn't find that, in my opinion the paragraph/note:

"When using Wrangler in the default local development mode, files will be written to local storage instead of the preview or production namespace."

Should be at least in the "Get started" guide. The guide introduce both Wrangler/Worker methods as same, but the behaviour is completely different. I understand the point that if you're a pro with Workers, the local development behaviour can be pretty clear, but until this moment I didn't need to differenciate the environments, and for someone new is very confusing to don't have that info in the starter guide

thanks, now that I've figure out by myself how it works, that part of the documentation is more clear for me. But still I see that confusing, because if I use the flag --remote it says I've to use another namespace with the flag --preview, and then is like trying to figure out all the steps again. I think I will open an issue, the rest of services I tried seems pretty clear, but in this particular case was pretty difficult for me. Thanks for your help

Unfortunately not. Custom Domains requires Cloudflare to be able to provision you a certificate in a certain way which they can only do if you're on Cloudflare nameservers.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, the only problems using Node with Workers (and serverless platforms in general) is with modules that rely on

. Filesystem doesn't really make sense as a concept when using Workers. I haven't had any other issues using node modules.

I'm building something like this for a few personal projects. I am in the process of improving the docs and adding docs around setting up outbound email for forgot password flows, etc... but it works for all the things you mentioned above. Note that the password hashing is using salted SHA-256 instead of something like bcrypt as you don't really want long CPU burns on Workers. If this is a concern you can use bcrypt or an external hashing service or whatever. - https://github.com/devondragon/workers-users

No. A WebSocket actually starts with a GET request so if you blocked GET requests you'd be blocking the initial WebSocket handshake and nothing could connect.

That's the only way, really. If you want to accept a websocket with a Worker then you also need to accept HTTP.

Keep in mind bots could send the Upgrade header themselves to trick it. Most bots wouldn't, but anyone targeting specifically your site could do that.
