but bazzite has its own initramfs handler which would undo nomodeset because you are on the nvidia image and expected to use the nvidia drivers there
for NVK you would use the non nvidia images

Hif you want nvk (which doesnt support prime offloading or hybrid mode or anything as far as we know) then you need to use a non nvidia image

ZI've come back to report that steam link on Bazzite X11 is extremely unstable, it does work but more often than not, it will crash and reboot Bazzite just like on Wayland, it will only be quite delayed.
I've therefore concluded that X11 is extremely unstable on the legion go, and although it has perfect scaling, it is too unstable and buggy to run.
I am therefore going back to Wayland until one day in the future where X11 may get more stable.

BI've been Bazzited
ZBtw, nested desktop got screwed up by me changing back and forth, any solutions, it won't launch at all now
ZMy Bazzite button now also brings up a window covering the whole screen.

ZDid that, that's when these issues came to me
ZWas doing bug testing by myself so I switched back and forth (I guess some settings got tweaked by that)
VThe KDE launcher is resizable, try holding the windows key and left click dragging to try and resize it
ZGoing into edit mode on desktop fixed it, I just had to re-edit my desktop so things looked nice again
