reinstall if you are switching DEs there will be problems when you go from gnome to kde or kde to gnome so even upstream recommends reinstalling or remaking the users homefolder if you do not know how to do the latter then reinstall
yes but you move and re-create it before you login on desktop on deck i am unsure how you would accomplish this due to autologin so reinstall is the easiest
Hello, running a fresh Bazzite install (all AMD), it's a reinstall really as my ssd failed the other day. With this new install I keep having games hang, so far has happened three times with death stranding and once with dark souls. I have to reboot when it happens. Wondering what the terminal command to verify or repair the os is? Is it called rebasing with the atomic OS? Anyway wasn't having this issue on the install with the ssd that failed, playing the same games, so I'm wondering what I can do about it.
The idea is that the system itself is static and immutable (cannot be altered), and that configuration happens within the confines of your home directory (typically somewhere in /var/home/$USER)
Yeah, troubleshooting is made easier with the knowledge that the underlying system cannot be modified. So either it works across the b oard, or you misconfigured something within Steam.
