I got a 4 year old repo I'm trying to move over to pages and get building. It works on the v1 build system but selecting v2 it does some weird complaining about node 12 is already installed and then errors out.

KIs it possible to purge the cache used for asset retention (or at least adjust the TTL)? I've noticed that some users can get an old version of a .json file i import into my next.js project which is not ideal for the site I'm running. CIt depends. Cloudflare has normalization settings under Rules -> Settings

Only the Cloudflare one merges successive slashes, and it'd only do it to Cloudflare's products by default. You can enable it to normalize the input to your origin. Even with both enabled though, the web browser would still see it sending two slashes

VI'm having issues with my Remix + Vite app building and deploying successfully but getting 404 for assets in production. It also works fine with Wrangler locally. Anyone experienced this?
AHow do you setup redirects only for urls with non-empty wildcards?
For example:
I want to redirect example.com/slug/123 to example.com/123 and leave example.com/slug as it is without redirecting.
I have set the below in redirects file.
/slug/* /:splat
But the above also redirects example.com/slug/ path to example.com/.

FCheck the buildpath on CF, vite has new path. Default is ”wrong” on CF
VI've changed it from the Remix present and pointed it to the correct folder as far as I know, /build/client.
VI retried the deployment and things seem to be fine now, with no changes. I wonder if CF was having issues for a time.

HNot really, unless you do so within Functions. Pages already has a cache, and applying an extra cache layer on top could cause it to break when you update your project, while providing negligible performance gains, if any

MThings get automatically cached if you add a cache header, and it's highly recommended to add cache headers to static content, so then I guess static content will get cached?
CWith pages? The default caching is by extensions (among a few other things). So you'd have css/js/etc (not HTML!) being cached, and that happens even without cache headers set

CPages already has its own cache under the hood though, so if your css/js isn't using auto-generated names, you can end up with your custom domain being delayed updating
