watching TLE's review of KDE 6 and he keeps mentioning how KDE 6 defaults make better sense than KDE5's alluding to that if you're upgrading to it you'll keep your old settings, which idk if i want that, but i also don't want to (sigh) yet again, reinstall all my stuff
make a new user, log in, log out then when plasma6 drops reference the other users folder to see what files to delete from ~/.config~/.config and ~/.local/share~/.local/share that are obvious plasma/kde files or just go through settings and just restore default on everything you can and hope for the best
Reminds me of someone I spoke to in the Deck discord: "I've tried to install HoloISO so many times, VM or on hardware it just won't work." "Don't use HoloISO, it sucks. There are better alternatives." "Why does it suck?"
The only reasonable explanation is that the hdmi port on my laptop is connected to the nvidia gpu which then made the first time boot up think that the primary gpu is the nvidia gpu and then it worked?
I got the drivers installed in the windows VM and host application. If i execute looking-glass-client from my distrobox it connects to the VM but the host application in windows is crashing with "Not using unsupported adapter: Microsoft basic rendering driver" "Failed to find a supported capture device"
