Apprently the cirrus audio chipsets in them arent set up for linux in general, theres some work aroud involving building a patch into the kernal for one of the more popular hp models of the half dozen, but i dont know if its worth experimenting to see if itll work on mine.
Not a bazzite specific issue though, they have the same issue regardless of distro from the forum posts im reading
I have been running into failiures to resume from suspend on my acer, due to some power management setting on the gpu i think, but it hasnt affected me really. (I need to do some more digging before i make a help thread on it.)
I put a nice 120hz screen in my acer but the cpu cant do more than 60 lol, i got the better panel for better viewing angles anyways though

This fixes Google authorization by relying on an external Python script to handle redirects. I tested a couple of scenarios and it works fine on my end. I stuck to the standard library so it should...
Having virtualization enabled can affect some games, it's why valve explicitly disables it in steamos so we do the same and we can't really support the usecase for the same reason. Plus VMs on a 4 core system isn't really great.
yeah its a rare issue but valve tries to cover as much as possible to get games working on the deck so they leave it off and we do the same. had 1 game where i had virtualization on the system, all the friendly AI in the game stopped working. had a bios update that turned virtualization off and it magically worked again until i fired up a vm and noticed virtualization was off and turned it back on
Ahh Its a cost of console like experience what I really love. Luckly on this steamdeck I am not running single game only dockers containers. Maybe someday I will create bazzite server version, bacouse SD a small homelab sever performe quite well. It's quite, has UPS built in, and it extremely compact
yeah we dont directly stop it, but if you try to enable iommu for example, bazzite-hardware-setup will detect it and turn it back off. and you can just bypass ujust for the virt tool installs, but we will not support virtualization on the deck for the same reason valve does
