Best casual/job interview shoes for someone that wears Stan Smith’s everyday?
Really didn’t know how to phrase the question lol, but my style is pretty much basics and I wear Stan Smith’s everyday with plain outfits. What are some good shoes that kinda fit that category that I can wear for some upcoming job interviews?

What kind of jobs are you interviewing for?
What is your budget?
If you want something a little dressier but something you can still wear casually, my first thought is brown derbies like this: https://www.rancourtandcompany.com/products/camden-derby-carolina-brown-chromexcel
Rancourt & Co.
Camden Derby - Carolina Brown Chromexcel
The ideal all-weather shoe. Stroll in style and don't fret about your shoes getting wet. Horween Chromexcel is highly water resistant and the storm welt / Vibram mini-lug combination is built to take on the elements. The Derby style is considered a little more casual with it's blucher type lacing and pairs perfectly wi
Paraprofessional/teaching assistant. Looking to spend like $120 max
For $120, you aren't going to be able to get decent-quality leather shoes, unless you are willing to shop secondhand.
You can probably find Allen Edmond secondhand for that price, if you are patient.
My wording’s probably trash, but I guess I’m looking for something more along the lines of Thursday boot sneaker type stuff
MFA does not generally like "dress sneakers"
Honestly, depending on the workplace, it might be OK to interview in a clean pair of Stan Smiths and chinos, but it's really hard to say.
Ideally I’ll be able to keep wearing SS’s at a new school (I wear them everyday already with chinos/jeans and a button down mostly)
Honestly if you just need some non sneaker leather shoes you're not going to wear often get something from Clarks or ECCO that' looks as close to what jfarrell posted as possible.
Like this is pretty cheap and probably wearable with a suit for an occasional interview: https://www.clarks.com/en-gb/craft-arlo-lace/26173849-p
Yeah, chukkas or desert boots from Clarks might be a reasonable option too.
Dressier than sneakers, less dressy than derbies.
It's not going to age well, and probably wouldn't last long if you wore it often, and isn't repairable (these are main benefits of more expensive shoes) but it looks acceptable enough.
Gonna put in a suggestion for Chelsea boots here
If you’re buying them for one interview, just go buy a pair of cheap faux leather boots from target or D&W.
