KSteam will let you put a library on any drive you like

DJust mount your steam drive at /var/mnt/foo
CMine is at /var/mnt/Data/Games/Steam/
CData is my second SSD, Games is a btrfs subvolume, and Steam has its own folder
AThere's also downloads, distrobox containers, media cache, browser cache, git/dev folders
KHow small is this drive? I've been able to get away with using a 256 GB steam deck for a very long time now
KA couple different box containers aren't going to take up that much space
AThe "/" was going to be on a 1tb (800-something gb) ssd drive and "/home" on the 8tb ssd
K1 TB is enormous, I would just make the other one your game and storage drive
KThere is zero need for home to be on the other drive
TFor the peeps that switch between handheld and docked how do you manage your game profiles that you want for when it's docked vs handheld on a per game situation

Abut i hear it's now pretty good after a bunch of updates
Aand the Legion Go is new enough that I should probably not expect perfection from any distro
AI couldn't even switch TTYs, everything froze once I tried
