Aworst case scenario, you could use the old net-based installer iso: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/releases/tag/v2.2.0
Ait should pull the latest bazzite images, and last i checked it still works

KTry using the Fedora Atomic installer, if it works you can rebase, and if it doesn't I suspect it will fail the same way and we've ruled out it being our issue and can help you debug further

NI've seen this happen when testing using VMs only a couple times and it was when my disk was really busy. I'm wondering if something is going goofy on occasion depending on the hardware being installed to or the USB disk doing the actual install. I haven't been able to figure out exactly where that problem is.

Ntrue. Wiping your drive is definitely recommended.

Lfor context, I'm trying to overwrite an existing Bazzite installation, but I'm deleting the partitions that it created and letting the auto partitioner do its thing so no idea why it doesn't work
