Curse in the sense that valve may one day decide that this thing we're doing is not okay once SteamOS releases publicly for handhelds as they have earlier promised is also a possibility I can imagine
Im going to work on a project (handheld console and it’s going to use bazzite but it’s going to take a while for it need to learn a lot of things I only know basic stuff on Linux
that's why i've kept my eye on OGUI since Steam really is a curse because we have to shittily hack around Steam so much having a solution with excellent handheld and game controller support would be a godsend but that also takes time and work and effort, time that people don't really have which is why OGUI dev has been so slow
While operating systems usually can pass minimalistic design without much complaints, you can notice that special attention is paid to UI & sound effects in consoles
Btw, when I got Bazzite I went with installing opera initially, but a friend of mine wanted Bazzite too on his legion go and had me set it up for him, now a month later he tells me has been testing quite a few different browsers and actually concluded that the included Firefox browser is better than opera, so I wanted to know what browsers you guys are using on Bazzite and if possible what browsers you think runs best on the legion go?
Brave is technically the "best" when it comes to having as little trackers as possible (this has been benchmarked) but I'd advise you to use Firefox or a third party fork simply because it's worth supporting the Gecko project
Why does it matter wether or not the browsers have trackers, why would I do anything illegal on my LEGO where secure boot is disabled, that's like asking for a rogue virus to brick my machine
