Tflatpak, distrobox/toolbx, appimage, and rpm-ostree all work
Twe prefer users use flatpak, distrobox and even appimage over layering fedora packages with rpm-ostree, but if you really need something at a system-level then use rpm-ostree as a substitute for dnf and reboot when you install the package. can also install COPR repos with this too

HOne of the best parts about Arch is AUR and SteamOS having no access to it unless you do a very time consuming manual script was kind've a bummer

AFedora doesn't have aur and copr is not up there yet but it's quite good

Hwhy are Flatpaks considered so much better? I mean I honestly prefer downloading things through a GUI too but the Discover store pisses me off beyond belief

HIt's not AUR specifically as much as the fact that big Linux distributions like Arch and Fedora tend to have every app you'd want through a terminal install command, Arch's is just the biggest afaik

HYeah I just think repositories are great, so many times I've tried installing something that ends up being a .tar.gz with no sensible documentation on how to install it
