Cozymaxxing in warmer climates?

I was digging through waywt and came across this super cozy fit, and it awakened something in me, but then I remembered I'm in Texas and it's already spring.

Is it possible to achieve this level of coziness and comfort with lighter materials without resorting to actual loungewear or athleisure? (I already have Vuori pants, which are extremely comfortable for lounging, but I don't wear them out because they're super thin.)

I have some terry shirts from Scotch & Soda that are probably close to what I'd call warm-weather cozy if that's a thing, but I haven't found anything in pants that would be comparable while still looking good enough to wear out but neither heavy enough to be hot nor light enough to lose the cozy vibe.

not exact, but more just things that can be worn in spring or even summer that still have generally cozy energy and produce the same feeling

looks good, but I'm too OCD for linen. The wrinkles drive me insane and the texture is usually a bit rougher than ideal to me

I have multiple terry shirts, both that camp style shown and some barbour polos, but I don't know what can produce that level of coziness in other pieces, specifically pants that are not sweatpants or athleisure

I'll take a look at that, thanks, but I do think it's worth pointing out that cozy isn't the same as just comfortable, as it has to be somewhat substantial to give that extra softness vibe, not just weightless and breezy

I think going for pants that are intentionally cut to be roomy and long so they stack a bit might be a good call here. The pooling here gives a cozy vibe but the extra space between fabric and leg gives breathability regardless of what kind of textile/weave it is.

are there companies that make proper pants in modern cuts that use the same kind of technical materials as someone like Vuori? most actual techwear seems to be optimizing for the outdoors rather than the indoors, but it seems like space-age fabric technology would be useful if you had to make something simultaneously cozy but still super breathable

I do too generally, but I think of it more as flowy than cozy, if that makes sense. Cozy has to be slightly more substantial, almost fluffy even, not just soft and weightless
